What we do:
- Physical soil removal through dry vacuuming - this is the most important step in the cleaning procedure. It removes small particulates of soil that can scratch and eventually ware down your carpet. We use highly effective equipment and make 4 cleaning passes to ensure we remove the most dry soil possible.
- Pre-Conditioning - a product is applied to the carpet and allowed time to emulsify the soil on the fibers. This helps expedite the actual cleaning process.
- Rotary brush agitation - this action will ensure that the pre-conditioning agent is incorporated into all of the fibers of your carpeting. This will help get the most possible soil out of your carpet in the hot water extraction phase.
- Hot water extraction using fuel oil truck unit - this procedure removes the suspended soil from the carpet fibers. The use of agitation and heat remove the greatest amount of soil.
- Bonnet cleaning - in this step we use thick pile cotton bonnets and a bonnet machine to go over the freshly cleaned carpet. This aids in the final removal of any residue, and also help speed up the drying time. This is a procedure that is not recommended in all situations, but may help with fragile or antique carpets in place of other steps in this process.
- Final cleaning of perimeter - this step is critical to our high standards of service. We vacuum and clean all baseboards around the perimeter of the service area to ensure a neat and clean finish to the job.
- Setting the nap - this is done as the final procedure. It removes rotary swirls, wand marks, and aids in the long-term performance of your carpet.
